Mission: OutClass was founded in 1993 to address these issues and to help gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer students at Stern to understand and manage work place diversity concerns as they relate to their personal career objectives. The organization seeks to serve as a professional, educational and social forum for gay and lesbian students, alumni, faculty, administration and the broader NYU community.
Sales & Trading Club
Mission: Our goal is to educate first-year students about the Sales and Trading industry, and successfully prepare you for the summer internship process.
Social Enterprise Association
Mission: Mission The mission of the Social Enterprise Association (SEA) is to serve as a resource and conduit for students who desire to use their business skills for social good in the for-profit, non-profit, and public sectors. Overview Our focus is on the following areas: Corporate Social Responsibility Social Entrepreneurship Economic Development / Microfinance Socially Responsible Investing Education Environmental Management Non-profit SEA is the NYU Stern School of Business chapter of Net Impact.
South Asian Business Association at Stern
Mission: SABAS is the platform for the South Asian Business Community at New York University to develop and share global business innovation. We are focused on the unique experiences and cultural strengths of the South Asian markets. We believe in the future of the global economy and the necessity to promote global business interaction and partnerships
Mission: Stern Adventures exists to connect members of the Stern community with similar interests in exciting, non-academic activities, to provide a forum to exchange ideas, and to organize and facilitate events.
Stern Hedge Fund Association
Mission: The Stern Hedge Fund Association serves as a gateway for current students to learn about the hedge fund industry. It’s main goal is to facilitate networking between current students, alumni and other professionals currently working in, or looking to change careers to, the hedge fund space.
Stern in Africa
Mission: Stern in Africa is an all inclusive club whose professional, educational and social events are open to all members of the Stern and NYU community. Through SIA events, we will be able to expose our entire community to broad, unique and exciting opportunities.
Stern Golf Club
Mission: The Stern Golf Club provides a resource for MBA students at NYU’s Stern School of Business who are interested in learning about, playing and competing in the game of golf.
Stern Investment Management & Research Society
Mission: The Stern Investment Management & Research Society provides a strong resource for graduate students at the Stern School of Business interested in pursuing careers in Investment Management, Buy and Sell-side Research, or Private Wealth Management. Our mission is to provide a forum for students to further their interest in these fields through numerous opportunities.
Stern Pharmaceutical and HealthCare Association
Mission: SPHA aims to bring together Stern MBA students who have an interest in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Our objective is to provide members with opportunities to understand the issues and challenges facing these industries and to identify possible career paths.
