Before Stern, I: was an actor and a filmmaker. Since that didn’t pay very well, I also taught LSAT, GMAT, and GRE classes.

I wrote my Stern essays about becoming: the Old Spice guy (no, seriously: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OI_vJoGtaVg).

In 10 years I see myself: writing and directing movies with my brother and running my own production company.

The one word I would use to describe myself is: ridiculous.

If I had one meal left on Earth I would eat: very slowly.

My favorite CEO is: Steve Jobs because that’s the answer you have to put or they kick you out of business school.

I love living in New York because: I can get anything I want delivered to my apartment at any time of day and I never need to drive.

I hate living in New York because: if I lived anywhere else I could actually afford things.

My first childhood memory is: falling backwards out of a kitchen chair when I was two and needing stitches on my head. I’m pretty sure that knocked all previous memories out of me.

I’m glad I decided to come to Stern because: I’ll be entering the film industry so much more prepared than if I only had an MFA and I like the people at Stern even more than I thought I would.

Something no Sternies know about me: I was shot and killed in 1996 after a Mike Tyson boxing match and now, when you see me, it’s really just a hologram.

Before Stern, I: was an analyst at Telegraph Hill Partners, a private equity/venture capital firm based in San Francisco. I am incredibly blessed to have worked with such a great group of experienced and talented professionals. For example, one of the partners there was the CEO of a $2 billion public company, who had done over 40 M&A deals. Working on deal teams with people like that was really educational.

I wrote my Stern essays about becoming: the founder of a double-bottom-line public company. I talked about it as a cross between Berkshire Hathaway (an ultra-efficient and successful holding company) and Target (which donates 5% of income annually). Disclaimer: I really haven’t done anything charitable in my life yet and am amazed by even the little things that my classmates do. For example, last year at Santa Con, Michael Morgan spent something like $70 on toys and handed them out to children on the street. Pretty freaking awesome!
 In 10 years I see myself: on a boat! I realized halfway through the MBA program that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. I’ve been taking programming classes at General Assembly and hope in 10 years that I’ll be a console.log(“l33t hax0r). That just took me 30 minute to write btw (var emil=”n00b”). I hope to launch a website in about a month or two (I’m 70% of the way through development).

The one word I would use to describe myself is: awkward. I’ve gotten OK at faking it, but I still feel pretty awkward in most social situations.

If I had one meal left on Earth I would eat: a Sosnoff sandwich. Ramen or Del Taco Chili Cheese Fries.

My favorite CEO is: Dan Porter of OMGPOP, because he gave a great talk at the EEX Summit and he’s an awesome guy (google “Dan Porter rehire stock options” if you’re curious about this).

I love living in New York because: I live close to Anthony Chien, Prat Panda, Andrew Loulousis and Mustafa Jang and can do late night War Horse movie marathon sessions.

I hate living in New York because: the Mexican food here is terrible. #SocalMexicanFoodSnob
My first childhood memory is: playing with a small red fire truck.

I’m glad I decided to come to Stern because: the people are pretty awesome. You had me at hello (or in Jordi’s case, “hombre!”).

Something no Sternies know about me: on the first day of my undergraduate college career, after moving all my stuff into the dorm room, I took a cold shower to cool off. I discovered that the doors were auto-lock and I had locked myself out, so I knocked on all the other guys’ dorm rooms (there were nametags on the doors) to borrow a t-shirt and shorts because the housing office was in a separate building and I only had a towel. Unfortunately, none of the guys was in his room and in an act of desperation I finally knocked on the last door in the hall: a girl whom I barely knew. She took pity on me and let me borrow a shirt and board shorts, which barely fit me (she was 5’2-ish) and I had to walk the half-mile to the housing center in her clothes to get a new key. It was humiliating.

Before Stern, I: worked in the music industry, lived in the same apartment, made vegetable juices and had free time.

I wrote my Stern essays about becoming: President of MESA. Damn You Nick Humphries! I still love you though. You’re a 9.5.

In 10 years I see myself: Ha! Like I’m gonna be alive in 10 years...

The one word I would use to describe myself is: me.

If I had one meal left on Earth I would eat: an amazing brunch: Belgian waffle wedges with maple syrup, a California omelet (from 7A), a toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese, French fries (yes, fries for brunch), sausage patties and fruit. Strong coffee and mimosas as beverages.
